Finally Launch of Paid Verification for FB-Insta


Two weeks ago, we talked here that following Twitter, Instagram and Facebook will also launch a paid service to get ' status symbol ' blue tick by verifying their account . Now this has been officially announced by Meta. Of course , paid verification is currently being offered to users in Australia and New Zealand. Currently on the web this costs around Rs. 990 and the smartphone app costs around Rs. A fee of 1240 has been fixed.

Meta says that such paid verification can be purchased for both Facebook and Instagram. After getting it, the user will get a verified badge. This facility will be available to a person having a personal Facebook account in the correct name , for which government identity proof will have to be provided. Care will be taken to ensure that no one else creates a fake account on Facebook in their name , they will get help from FB when needed and some other ' exclusive features ' . A special thing to note is that Facebook will also provide some additional facilities for the post of the person taking such paid service to reach more people on Facebook. This means that people who haven't purchased paid verification will have a reduced post reach. Meaning , we will see less content from friends who don't buy paid verification! Of course , it remains to be seen how much the meta company in India values ​​paid verification and how enthusiastic people are about it.
