What should not be searched on the Internet?
Just recently in 'Technoworld' we talked about ChatGPT, a 'disruptive' competitor to Google search engine . If we ask anything to this chatbot, it will summarize various information available on the internet and show us the summary in its own way. We talked then that this chatbot is still not to be trusted. His answers are as shocking as they are confusing!
Even so , any information available on the internet cannot be relied upon blindly. We usually search the required information using Google , Wikipedia or social sites from the internet. In apps like WhatsApp , Telegram , Facebook , YouTube, various types of information come in front of us without asking. The information found in all these sources is to be trusted only after verifying them in different ways. Despite this, many people still believe that ' it is found in Google, so it must be true ' . In fact, the results obtained by searching in Google are not of Google , but of many websites , in which anyone can write anything.
Certain types of information should never be searched in Google , Wikipedia , social media etc. and even if searched, blind faith should not be placed on it.
Let's take a look at some of these things.

Google is not a doctor. Now almost all the doctors are very embarrassed that their patients come to see the doctor after searching on Google about the symptoms of their disease or its treatment and medicine. Medical information found on Google or various social media is never to be trusted.
Each person's illness and its treatment is subject to its specific circumstances. Everything found on the internet is quite generalized. Information given on the website or social pages of a well-known hospital or health institution can be trusted , but prescriptions given personally on social sites can be very dangerous.

Overall, there are many sites on the internet that provide detailed information about the stock market or other investment options. Many of them also have quite expert analysis. If we are not knowledgeable about the subject, we can definitely rely on such expert guidance. But at the same time, there is no shortage of misinformation or misinformation on the internet to mislead us. We have to be so knowledgeable about investing that we can decide for ourselves which sources of information to trust and which not. Similarly , the advertisements one comes across while searching for loans may not be reliable at all , so it is necessary to proceed with utmost caution.

There is far more false information than true information on the internet. Be it the Corona situation in China , the Ukraine-Russia war , the Corona vaccine or the election-time gossip - about every issue there are ' facts never come out , it's actually a big scam ' by the ' conspiracy theory ' or ' all black in the dal ' type . There are many people who say that it is . Especially social media gives such talk an overwhelming air. Once we click on a post related to it, more and more such posts , videos etc. are shown to us and we may start believing it as fact!

Just as one should not search for drugs on the internet or at least blindly believe that the information found is correct , similarly there is a danger of blindly imitating information about various chemicals found on the internet. There is no harm in videos or posts showing various home recipes on YouTube or other social media. Recipes like whitening teeth , removing stains from clothes or tiles with the help of over-the-counter chemicals are widely shared on the internet. Like drugs, chemicals are subject to certain conditions and circumstances. If we accidentally mix two dangerous chemicals together, it can be very dangerous for us.
