In the event of an emergency, the iPhone will be connected to the satellite!


For a long time there was a discussion that Apple's iPhone will also come with satellite connectivity. Initially this was just a rumor , then Apple company confirmed it. Now this feature is going live soon. Of course for now this feature will only come in handy in emergency situations to get help by getting satellite connectivity. For this, the Apple company has taken the help of a company called Global Star , which will provide satellite connectivity to the iPhone with the help of its own satellites.

This feature is currently available only in the newly launched iPhone 14. If you own an iPhone 14 , have the latest version of iOS, and live in the US or Canada, you will be able to take advantage of this feature ( it's not clear when this feature will be available in other countries , though!).

iPhone users who fulfill all the above conditions will be able to send an emergency ' SOS ' request using their iPhone whenever they are in trouble and even when the normal mobile network is disconnected, after this feature comes in their iPhone .

For that, you just have to press the Emergency SOS button on the iPhone. Hence the iPhone will send a message to the nearest Global Star satellite that we are in trouble. Along with this, our location and if we have stored medical information in the iPhone, then its details can also be shared.

This message will reach the ground station on Earth through the satellite and from there will be delivered to the nearest emergency service and Apple company's emergency specialist. In this way, a distressed iPhone owner can get help even without a mobile network connection.
