Heart cell research is being done in the International Space Station, 400 km above Shimla

Heart cell research is being done in space 400 km above Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It includes seven scientists from America, Russia, Kazakhstan and Japan. In fact, on December 4 the International Space Station (ISS) will be visible from Shimla for two days. It will appear twice for one minute on the first day, twice for one minute on the second day. This information has been released by NASA.

On December 4, the International Space Station will be visible between 10 degrees and 14 degrees north for one minute at 6:35 p.m. Similarly, at 5:48 PM on December 5, it will be seen moving north-northeast to north-east at 10 degrees for two minutes. On December 5 at 7:23 PM, North-West will be seen moving from 10 degrees to 16 degrees for one minute.

The International Space Station will study cardiovascular health in microgravity. Studies will be conducted on how heart cells derived from stem cells affect space. They will also experiment with drugs to treat them. Seven scientists are conducting research on the ISS team of Expedition 68 astronauts. They are from America, Russia, Kazakhstan and Japan. This mission of the expedition started in September 2022 and will last till March 2023.
