Now all messages are likely to be encrypted in Messenger too

After a long wait, the Meta company is finally likely to feature end-to-end encryption for all chats in its Messenger app , like WhatsApp , by default. This means that messages sent in the Messenger app, either individually or in group chats, cannot be seen by anyone in between except when they are displayed on both end phones. Not the people from the messenger company and not the people from the police or other investigative agencies.

Until now Messenger had such a feature , but the user himself had to decide whether to encrypt the message or not while posting the message. Of course , the feature of encrypting all messages in Messenger by default is likely to be rolled out by next year.
