What are eco friendly seed crackers without smoke, noise and light?

New Delhi, November 8, 2020, Monday

The National Green Tribunal has banned the sale and detonation of fireworks from midnight on November 8 to November 30 to curb the spread of pollution in areas including Delhi NCR. With the onset of winter, the air becomes thinner and the level of pollution drops to lower air levels. In Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, straw is destroyed by burning of grain crops during the kharif season and its pollution also reaches Delhi. In addition, if fireworks are set off during the Diwali festival, the level of pollution is likely to exceed its danger mark. Second, the number of four-wheelers in Delhi is high during the festivals, making the air toxic.

Fireworks have been banned this year as part of a precautionary measure against the Corona epidemic. According to the information received, the NGT ban also applies to cities and towns where air quality was not good during the month of November last year. There is a lot of research being done on the alternative of firecrackers on Diwali, starting from environment friendly green firecrackers.

Seed crackers have been researched this year. These seed crackers are nothing but light, sound or smoke but they emit flowers and vegetables. In this regard, the researcher believes that in view of the rising level of pollution, there is a need to change the mindset about fireworks in the future. Seed crackers have firecrackers like twine bombs, rockets, marigolds, hydrogen bombs but they do not explode but just grow like plants. The hydrogen bomb turns into a tomato. (Picture is symbolic)
