New delhi date. Thursday, October 15, 2020

Soumya Swaminathan, chief scientist at WHO, said a healthy and young person is likely to have to wait until 2022 to get the corona vaccine. He said this at a social media event. During the event, Swaminathan said that most people agree that health workers who are fighting corona should be vaccinated first. So we also have to decide who is most at risk among health workers. Apart from this, the elderly are also at risk.

Swaminathan has been told that the corona vaccine will be available in the next one year. He said that by 2021, the world will have a successful and effective vaccine for corona. But the vaccine will only be available in limited quantities. Due to which vaccination will be done on priority basis. Many vaccines are currently being tested around the world for the corona vaccine. Many of these companies and researchers claim to have a successful vaccine by the end of this year. However, such a statement has been issued by the WHO.
