The spread of its wings was like the wing of a fighter plane. This particular extinction was caused by the collision of a meteorite from space on Earth approximately 65 million years ago. Not only that, these creatures also existed on the earth for millions of years.


According to research from the University of Leicester Birmingham, very fine cracks and holes in the teeth of fossils were studied. Its teeth were compared to the crocodiles currently seen. The purpose behind this research was to find out about his eating habits. A total of 17 species of pterosaurs ranged from 208 million years ago to 94 million years ago. However, the torsoras were not herbivores but carnivores, preying on vulnerable fish and reptiles.
