Ahmedabad. 20 September 2020, Sunday

One Robert performed a successful surgery on a cancer patient with three teams of doctors. This is the first time Robert has treated a cancer patient. According to the report, the patient has recovered in a short time due to this unique experiment.

A doctor at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Britain's National Health Service, decided that three stages of surgery would be performed simultaneously. For which three teams of doctors and a robot started the process of surgery at the same time.

Doctors used the robot in the successful surgery of a 53-year-old patient with advanced rectal cancer. Whose name is Da Vinci Si. The robot was given surgical instruments in four arms and was controlled by a doctor through a joystick and a 3D screen. The robot is worth Rs 9.5 crore.

The surgery was performed in July, but the details attached to it have now been released. A total of 14 doctors participated in the surgery. Experts believe that this experiment will make it possible for several doctors to operate simultaneously in the future.

Prior to this, complex surgery for advanced rectal cancer was performed in different shifts. One team completes the work and the other team joins in the surgery. Which takes 12 hours. But at one point the surgery took less than 10 hours. The patient also had less recovery time. Earlier the patient had to stay in the hospital for 21 days, but now he has recovered in just 7 days.
