New delhi date. 23 September 2020, Wednesday

Most people nowadays keep their phones locked so that no one else can open them. However, sometimes your phone stays open and a member of the household reads the message on your phone. Sometimes there are also messages that are so personal that you can't show them to anyone else. But now you don’t have to worry. Android smartphones have a feature that will not allow your phone to run without your consent, even if the phone is locked.

This feature will be seen in these phones

This feature is called Pin the Screen and is found in all smartphones above Android 5.0 version. This feature can be very effective when you have to hand over your phone to someone else. It has often been observed that most people start peeping into other apps as soon as they get hold of another's phone. With the help of this feature you can stop anyone from dodging like this.

This is how this feature works

With this feature you can lock / pin any one app on the screen. You will then need a lockscreen password to switch to another app.

This is how you can set this feature

- First go to the settings of the smartphone.

- Now go to the Security & Location option.

- Advanced option will be seen here.

- In this option you will find the option of screen pinning, tap on it.

- If this option is off, turn it on.

- Now open the app you want to pin, then go to Recent Apps option.

- Now long press on the app and select the PIN option.

- Then press Home and Back buttons simultaneously to go to another app and use the lockscreen password.
