Researchers in Japan have succeeded in destroying cancer cells by inserting a small robot into the body of a cancer patient. Although this nano-robot may seem like a science fiction at the moment, many of the discoveries in science have come from imagination. Researchers at the Innovation Center of Nano Medicine in Kawasaki, Japan, and their team are seeing good results in the treatment of cancer. New virus attacks are not going to stop in the world after the Koro crisis, so Japanese researchers are trying to fight viruses like unknown and invisible enemies in their future. Researcher Cajunora Kataoka believes the idea of ​​an in-body hospital has been in the works for at least three years. Many nano devices can move independently in different parts of the body, not only diagnosing if there is a problem but also treating accordingly. The size of this nano machine will be less than 100 nanometers. This spherical device will be powered by heat and light in the body and will have a hydrophilic shield around it which protects the body's immune system from being activated.


So far it has been used in research with a variety of cancer treatments. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Japan in the last three years. The number of elderly people in the country is high but cancer is more prevalent in people in their 20s or so. Hence clinical trials on Japan nano robot technique are running on cancer. Some researchers are even experimenting with nano-robots to treat brain tumors. Kataoka believes that there are some preliminary findings in breast and bowel cancer that are encouraging. However, Satoshi Uchida, a professor of bioengineering at the University of Tokyo, disagrees. Viruses such as corona need to be cured faster. Macromolecular drugs and biocompounds that affect proteins and nucleic acids in the body will be more effective than nano-machines to fight them.
