WhatsApp users will soon be able to use one account simultaneously across four devices. On Twitter, WABetaInfo tweeted a glimpse of the new feature.

However, this feature is still being worked on and a beta version will be rolled out soon. There have been a number of reports about WhatsApp's multi-device support in the past.

According to WABetaInfo WhatsApp will soon allow use in 4 devices simultaneously. The screenshot shows that the app will use WiFi connectivity to sync data from all devices. Users who do not have Wi-Fi connection and want to use their account on a different device may be offered the option of opting for mobile data.

Note that at present WhatsApp cannot be used simultaneously on different devices. The app does not support multi devices. However, dual app Android phones have the facility to run two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously.

Work is currently underway on a new feature so this feature is not currently in the latest beta version. Currently limited to internal testing. This was preceded by a report that found WhatsApp working on multi-device support.
