Snow in Antarctica is changing from white to green, scientists worry

The last few years have seen amazing natural changes around the world. In which one more event has been added. The color of ice in Antarctica is changing from white to green. Scientists are also concerned about such a strange change. At present, scientists are investigating whether climate change is the cause or the cause. Some scientists believe that penguins living there are responsible for this.

Previously, only white was visible in Antarctica, meaning that only white snow was visible wherever you looked. But now there is a mixture of green with white. This green snow is especially prevalent in the coastal areas of Antarctica. Scientists are also predicting that the whole of Antarctica will turn green in the next few years.

The American space agency NASA's Sentinel-2 satellite has been taking pictures of Antarctica for two years. After the study, researchers from the British Antarctica Survey at Cambridge University have for the first time prepared a green map of the spread in Antarctica. Researchers have found evidence of this type of green ice in 1679 places across Antarctica. Scientists said there could be sea green behind the green color of the ice in different places. This green absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The researchers said that not only green but also red and orange have been found in various places.
