Bio-Engineer Prof. of Swanson School of Engineering of the University. Carbon dioxide in the blood can be easily removed with a hemolang machine, said William Federspill. The ventilator is causing a lot of damage to the lungs but the patient does not have to be knocked unconscious due to this machine.
