Apart from this, the facility of text formatting will also be made available on Twitter. However, this service will be available only to users who have already subscribed to Twitter Blue.

Increase the character limit

Experts say that with the increase in character limit on Twitter, people will now be able to express their feelings better and clearly. However, it was not revealed at the time whether the feature would be exclusive or available to general users, after users tweeted at length. But now it has become clear that only Blue subscribers will be able to avail this facility.

Twitter said, “We're improving the writing and reading experience on Twitter! Starting today, Twitter now supports tweets of up to 10,000 characters with bold and italic text formatting.

Twitter Blue must be signed up to use the new features. However, it was not revealed at that time, whether this feature will be exclusive or available to general users as well. But now it has become clear that only Blue subscribers will be able to avail this facility.

However, this is not the first time Twitter has changed its character limit. In 2017, the company increased its character limit from 140 to 280. Then-immediate CAO Jack Dorsey called the move a small but very important change.
